Incredible still top dog for Verizon!! According to Engaget

This doesn't surprise me one bit. There are 4 high-end Android phones on Verizon right now (2, X, Inc, Fascinate). We're still in an iPhone-centric market. The 2 is a bit bulky due to the keyboard, and the X is too big for many people. The Fascinate has some issues, leaving the Incredible as the current "Verizon iPhone-clone." Until Verizon either gets the iPhone, or gets a better mid-sized slate phone, the Incredible will still be the best "overall" phone on the network.

I've recommend nearly 12 people to get the Droid Incredible. It is by far in my opinion the best phone on Verizon. I had a friend try out the Droid, Fascinate, X, and Droid 2, and he went back to the Incredible.

I used to have the Droid, since that one got stolen I decided to get the Droid Incredible and man this thing still ****ing holds up to a lot of the stuff out there. This is the second best phone on Verizon in terms of the Modding community but it's the best overall in all categories.

It's snappy, great quality, very sleek size and form. By far the most balanced phone on Verizon. It offers the best possible Google experience on Verizon.

I saw that article earlier as well. Just ordered my Incredible from Verizon. It will get here on Monday.

Ordered with my annual upgrade, but I've already had the Droid (1) and X. I'm currently on a BB Tour, so I'm really glad to see my choice of the Incredible is indeed a good choice!

So hello Incredible users :)

I love the size of the X, but hate motorola phones. The DINC is the only phone i've every owned where there have been almost zero problems and operations have been flawless!!! I can't wait for the DINC HD or whatever they will call it to hit now, 3G or 4G. Just give me a larger screen now!!!!

This is good to know since I've been second-guessing my decision to go with the Incredible over the Fascinate. Looks like I made a good choice.

I did talk to a Verizon rep the other day who told me that the Fascinate is Verizon's #1 selling droid, followed by the X and then the Incredible. I thought that was interesting.

the masses seem to go to the droid or the x, hence why they are top sellers.

the inc hardly gets any advertisment or mentions. it does appear to be #1 for those in the know who really want the best all round phone...

The masses seem to be going for the Fascinate in droves. It was selling like crazy when I was in the Verizon store. I think it's because it looks so much like the Iphone.

The Fascinate is a droid?

Yeah... I recommended the Droid Incredible to three of my friends... all of whom got the Fascinate instead. Idiots.

My sister whoever, asked for the Incredible for Christmas.

The Fascinate uses the android platform it may not be dubbed a "droid," but has all the same features as a Droid and will be getting 2.3 update first from what I read on the verizon forums.

fascinate is over rated. My girl is looking at getting it and i keep telling her get the incredible or wait for the hd with me, because she will be dissapointed with the fascinate. She isn't a tech junkie either though and doesn't care what version of android it is running or about processing power. Some people have to learn for themselves, i told her not to get the blackberry she has now but what do i know about phones, now she hates it and wants an android so bad after she sees me playing with mine likes its still my shiny new toy and i have had it for like 4 months now.

In general, I am incredibly pleased with my DInc (pun unintended)... but that new Nexus S looks so sexy. Normally I don't go for things solely on looks, but that thing just makes me drool.

That having been said, I was reading the mentioned Engadget article the other day and was pleased to see that the DInc was still high on the list of Android devices. I have owned plenty of smartphones (WM,BlackBerry,Android) and I am simply in love with this phone, which is shocking for me to still be able to say after 6 months.

what is wrong with the fascinate when compared to the droid inc?

the lack of sense gets me, even though its not a big deal to some, i like the option, you can choose between sense or launcher pro or ADW if you wish, with the fascinate you don't have that. The screen on all the galaxy s phones look great, but if im correct the fascinate is still on 2.1? Bing maps and bing search is also lame. Google is miles ahead of bing as a search engine. Also i have heard just generally negative things about it, the inc is still the snappiest and best top end smart phone verizon has to offer, and that won't change until 4g phones start coming. Not even anything released recently like the droid pro or droid 2 can come close to the incredible. Overall i would buy a samsung tv, but not a phone, that is what htc is for.

Ooh yeah, i forgot that they binged out Verizon droid Phones lol
I don't mind Bing(then again i don't have a choice cuz im using Windows phone now) but it is not a big deal...but then again these are google phones so i see why it is a big deal

Fascinate sucks with 2.1 and bing maps. And it lags and the GPS is terrible. My friend has it and I played with it a little. The only thing I love about the Fascinate is that screen it is beautiful. A Good Software update could fix all these issues with the Fascinate right now but I doubt thats gonna happen. What a waste of a good phone.

I've almost jumped ship twice from my Incredible even though I love it I still am that guy who always wants the next best thing haha I went into Verizon to buy the X and left disappointed in it after playing with in for half an hour , I actually did buy the Fascinate had it for awhile but never could get over it's flaws and stuck with my Incredible . It's just an all around awesome phone , it really has no major flaws

Does Bing give turn by turn nav on Android?

So true. I, still, cannot stand Motorola's UI. Although I'm currently on my third Dinc, I would still choose it over any of the devices VZdub has brought to the table.

Dincs, baby.
