Sorry I havn't had this problem. I've only had the battery "issue". I dunno if this will help any but try taking out the battery yet? if not the only other thing i can think of aside from calling some type of tech support maybe preform a wipe? That is usually the answer to all my problems, so sorry if it isn't. Hopefully someone else in these forums can help.

Mine does this as well. I rarely turn it off ( for charging only every now & again ), but when I boot it back up, it defaults to the red-tinged scene that is the default from the factory. I keep my main scene saved so I just have to put it back on but it's still an inconvenience and certainly not how the DI is supposed to work, I'm sure.

If by chance you say the "theme" changes but meant the "home wallpaper", go to settings, personalize, home wallpaper and change it to what you want. Hope this helps.

Yes, I have this problem too. Actually, it's just an inconvenience, not really a problem. But weird. If you figure out how to keep it from doing that, please post back.

That happened to me the first week I had my phone, but has since stopped happening. I shut it off every day while I am at work, so plenty of opportunity for it to occur.

Like someone wrote above, make sure you save your theme atleast once. I don't think I had ever saved it when I was seeing this issue all the time. Now that it has saved, I can still change the home screens around and it doesn't forget after a power cycle (even without re-saving), but perhaps you need that first save in there?

anyone hear of the 'scene' that can be set based on time and location??
i heard on a podcast that its in the expresso build...tryna see if its a hack (probably not til we have root) that can do that on my incredible.

The wierd part is that it did not do it the first two weeks. As soonas I got the phone configured I changed my theme to the HTC Live Grass and it automatically saved it. I am not sure if this could have anything to do with a Task Killer I downloaded a few days before, which I have erased since.
Also I alreadu reset the phone to factory and still the same.

So funny, because this happened to me this morning too, and I was wondering if anybody else had the same strange issue....I turned the phone off, and when I rebooted it, my phone had the same scene, just a different home wallpaper, the HTC Sense one? Not a big deal, but I agree with the poster above, it shouldn't be happening on the Incredible....

I think I am onto something. When I just change to a diff. scene using the menu-scenes key combination, is when the scene you just picked will not stay or be saved after you reboot the phone, even if you save the current or previous scene. However if you use, settings, personalize, Home wallpaper and pick any live wallpaper it has no problems even after shutting the phone down.

More about this issue in this thread. For me, the problem is only when I used "live wallpaper"

Home scene changes

settings, personalize, Home wallpaper. Once you do that your theme will not change.

Not so true. I tried this as a fix and it worked for a couple days, then it did it again. Tried again, and it held for a couple days, ... rinse, repeat, etc.

Just happened again. INCREDIBLy annoying.
