Incredibly Bad

i love mine also. the audio quality on incoming calls could be better, but it's livable, and more than worth the rest of the advantages of the phone.

I adore my Incredible. I only wish they weren't so back-ordered so my fiancee could get one.

My only gripe is that it doesn't turn into a pizza if I drop it on concrete.

Other then the joystick being extrmely slow, the phone has been perfect. Battery life isn't as bad as others report but not great either. 1750 has solved that

I think any board you go onto is going to have mostly problems , most people will only post when they are having an issue so it makes it look like everyone is having issues.

Have you ever looked up apartment reviews, 90% of them are negative becasue you think people take the time to praise? no most people only take time to complain lol

Exactly. This forum is hardly representative of the hundreds of thousands of Incredible owners. For every person that is a member of this forum, there are likely 1000 Inc owners that don't even know it exists. Why? Because, for the most part, people don't usually search forums like this out unless they are having problems.

Honestly (and I've been through a LOT of new phone launches) the problem ratio for the Inc is about par with any other new device post-launch. No better, no worse. It's the nature of the beast. And it's not as high of a ratio as people here make it out to be.

I have had issues but overall the phone works for me. Not too much customization and I add new contacts to Gmail so the hard resets haven't bothered me too much other than the fact that they are annoying. Either Gmail stops working or the infamous "low memory" warning comes up (which is a joke).

Aside from periodic random reboots (which don't actually even bother me) the only issue I had was battery life with the stock battery. Replaced it with the 1750 and couldn't be happier.

LOVE. came from a moto droid, so i'm thrilled to have a sexy phone that's wicked fast and crazy responsive. i use my camera a lot (couldn't use the moto droid camera at all), and the only problem i've had is ONCE it froze for a moment on me. i just had to back out and open it again, no further problems, and i really do use the camera a lot. i've got a 1500 battery and a 2150 (if i'm going to take a long trip from home). this is the best phone evah. also, this is a refurb! i hope it doesn't develop any problems in future, but so far, so fabulous.

Yea the only thing that i find "wrong" with the phone is the battery life. Other than that the phone is perfect. Sure the Droid X has a bigger screen but who wants to use something the size of a netbook at a phone. Couldn't be happier.

Seriously, with all the complaining that goes on here, I have to wonder.... am I the only one that ISN'T having any issues with this phone?

I use the hell out of it, have it bogged down with tons of apps/widgets, have rooted it, deleted some stock apps, and plan on flashing vanilla froyo once it's available. And I've done all of this without a problem aside from the mediocre battery life, which I fixed with an extended life battery.

I feel like I'm the only one that absolutely loves this phone.

Is there anyone else out there that agrees with me?

things is, you can't make everyone happy and there's always dissenters in a group. What gets me is when peope post like they actually have an incredible and they don't. Biggest problem for some folks is that it is not an iphone, I for one relish the fact it isn't, but, I am smart enough to realize because we have the iphone, we have the incredible and all the future phones that will come out.

I have not had any force close problems, crashes, screen problems, anything like that and I too use the heck out of my phone. I get on here all the time and learn something new. I teach others whom have android all the new things I learn and I am still a rookie! I wouldn't even think about rooting my phone for fear of messing it up, but this thing does more than I could ever have imagined getting out of my phone
.
Just the other day my wife and I were using a rental car and she had the incredible hooked up through the input jack and she was playing jewels,
playing music, answering texts and using navigation all over the car's stereo w/out a hick up (yes it was hooked up to the lighter too). Music would pause, voice would warn us where to turn and there was no manual restarting of any program. She was gushing how she loved it. I find myself everyday amazed at what I can do with the phone.

Now when I use an iphone or ipod I find it annoying how I can manipulate programs or customize things the way I want. I am always looking for the menu button and it drives me nuts! I was just cracking myself up the other day looking at my user dictionary (funny if you never have)- and I was telling an iphone user about it- well (at least until this last update)- he was unable to locate his user dictionary. - Simple things like that.

Sure there are areas it can improve, but in no way am I dissatisfied at all with this phone. I look forward to froyo and future updates. In two years I will be in line waiting to get the 4g phone and a dual processor phone! Ha!

I got mine day of launch, and any problems I've had were caused by an unhappy app (or me). My friends who are now receiving theirs are discovering that it's not a contest of who can install the most apps. Too much, too soon without going through the learning curve of the the phone equals PROBLEMS. Fortunately, they have me to run to, and I can spot the goofy app that's screwing up their phone (battery life) pretty easily. Going on 2 months now, and my DI still works like a charm.

No problems here either. My battery lasts all day (and I'm always fidgeting with my phone), no complaints on voice quality either. I have been very selective with my apps, not sure if that has anything to do with it.

True story , I didn't know this forum exsisted until I got my Eris and I was having trouble with it. The Eris forum got my Eris running almost perfectly (for an Eris) with all the help and knowledge of these boards.

Now I've been on these boards for awhile and it feels good when I can help out someone else . Paying back the help I got

Preordered mine and received on launch day - never had the first hint of the slightest glimmer of the tiniest glimpse of the least bit of a problem...

I'm a bit of an electronics gear-queer, always seem to have a problem or 30 with the latest "best gadget ever". Can't seem to find a complaint on the Incredible. Just flat works for me...

I love this phone as well!!! I spent some time in the apple store this weekend and compared it to the iphone 4. The incredible has a larger screen and there is barely a difference in screen quality if any at all. I had the incredible's little brother, the Eris, and I hated it. It always froze and was "incredibly" slower. :)

I've been pretty happy with mine but the call quality is pretty bad. Typical conversations breaking up. Funny that I'm willing to overlook that feature from a phone. My buddy said he'll replace mine when they get them stock so it could take a while.

I don't think I've had any issues that I seem to see a lot of on forums and blogs.

I'm loving the phone, except for the touchscreen hardware/software being a little off from what I'm used to on my iPod Touch, its been great.

Still getting used to not having a hardware keyboard though :(

<3 HTC Incredible (at least until I sell it for a newer phone)

Would prefer better battery life but other than that I've got no complaints. People are more likely to be vocal about negative subjects as they tend to be looking for help/validation.

No real complaints. Battery life is only ok but I haven't even had the phone a week to break in the battery. I like it a lot.

I love this phone. I have not had any problems with it. Typically, when someone has a positive experience, they may tell 1 person. If they have a negative experience, they will probably tell 10 or more.

Since the local Verizon store Mgr came back from vacation, to find a box of 20 Incredibles, the week after the release. (Aka my lucky day.)

One "hard reboot" requiring activation on day 2, and no issues since . Okay, the battery life is limited (stock), but I do more with it than I ever imagined. And its faster than my brothers iPhone.
