incredibly slow data transfer

right now i am trying to transfer 2.85 gigs onto the droid, its going at 315kb/s. is it cause of the new froyo leak or is something else wrong? im using the stock cable with stock memory card in my stockings.

Are you sure you're plugged into a 2.0 USB port? Some laptops/PCs have 1.x USB ports, or a mix of both.

yeah it is, i built the computer myself. but yeah the whole phone is hosed anyways, its running slow and freezing and yeah looks like i have to unroot it and go back to stock.

It's only going to transfer as fast as the slowest link. That could definitely be your problem.
