Indian RUU or Nandroid backup of Stock Indian ROM

Dear All,
In my Quest to return my DHD to factory state, i need the Indian RUU BUT couldn't find it anywhere. If any body can provide a Indian RUU or a Nandroid Backup of the stock ROM, i will be able to achieve my objective.

Its my humble appeal to you all and especially Indian forum members to pls help me.

I am sorry i dont have time to write a How to, but you can get everything if u have rooted and installed custom ROMs. Pls read all the posts in both the threads. You will know what to do. If you face any problems feel free to ask.
 
Hmm the first link you gave ckranjan, did you use the backup of the Indian firmware or the RUU of the worldwide firmware?

I wouldn't have thought you could restore completely to stock with the backup, as it wouldn't fix your recovery menu, unlocked bootloader, radio and so forth.

Assuming u have custom ROM you can follow the steps below :

1. From clockworkmod recovery u can flash the backup OF INDIAN ROM in the given xda thread.
2. Using radio tool u can do S-ON and CID.
3. Flash stock recovery. Few methods mentioned in the post on XDA.
4. Unroot using visionary.

i didnt need to flash radio because i never flashed any other radio on my phone.


Edit : if u have ENG S-OFF then first u have to flash a 1.32 asian RUU, root it USING VISIONARY, install clockworkmod recovery, ROM MANAGER and then flash the backup(indian rom).follow the steps.
 
Thanks for your steps and the reason i've asked you to put steps is, it will helpful for people who wants to claim warranty... If you see the 1st link you've posted clearly.. that backup was made from my phone(uploaded to dropbox) and i gave the complete steps, but one member mentioned that its not working. Thats why i wanted to verify whether you've used that backup from that link or somewhere else...Anyways thanks and now i can give link to this topic :D

If its ur backup then i would like to thank u a ton, because of u i could return my phone to stock.

Also ur backup is alright. Its just that downloading through browser the file gets corrupted. I downloaded it through IDM and it downloaded fine and worked for me.
