Howdy- My gf's Droid has been having a harder and harder time connecting with her charging port. We looked around and turns out that isn't exactly a rare problem. She isn't due for an upgrade for a long time, and I think we just missed the warranty, so we bought a charging mat/battery cover from Verizon to just circumvent the broken port.
Got the stuff today, hooked it all up, and does not charge. The light goes from solid red/neutral state to solid orange. According to the instructions that means there is something plugged in to the charging port still. I cleaned it out in case some grit was in a weird spot, and still can't get anything.
Has anyone else had this kind of problem? Not sure if her port is so jacked up it thinks something is plugged in, or if we got a bad mat/cover.
