Root Infinite boot loop - Urgent help needed please

Taking out the battery doesn't work..

Had Installed cyanogenmod7 and tried installing gapps-passion-FRF91-signed.zip as i found it through a google search for a non-fc market..
but when i rebooted cyanogen just gives me the loading screen then it suddenly loads into a screen saying
"Welcome to HTC desire
touch the android to begin
emergency dial | change language"
screen doesnt seem to respond if i try to touch on the android or the other two buttons.(took out battery here
I have tried to wipe data/factory reset and clear cache partition but the above still occurs.
I've been trying to flash(?) the stock using RUU_Bravo_hTC_Asia_WWE_1.19.707.6_Radio_32.36.00.28U_4.06.00.02_2_rel_124362.exe
but apparently my phone is not detected as anything other than a storage device if i boot up clockworkmod recovery (in which i mount as usb..)

That's an android 2.1 RUU so that won't work.

What happens if you try to restore the nandroid backup you took before flashing Cyanogen?

From what I can gather, you jumped into this whole thing with both feet before fully understanding what you were doing. It's always best to ask for help before doing something and not making a mess than asking for help after making a mess
