I've been a lurker for a long time but have started dabbling a bit deeper with my Triumph more as of late and I'm looking for some info. Currently running the U9000 rom and working with Bsydz kernel sources (https://github.com/BSydz/Triumph-Sharp-2.2.2-Custom-Kernel). Here's a list of some things I'm working on/would like more info about if possible.
1. Hardware pics/pinouts: in the past I've seen some close up photos of the triumph board but I can't seem to find them anymore. Any idea where they are? I'm looking to hookup a serial/tty cable for bootloader/kernel output (I have compiled kernel to output messages to screen during bootup but ttl is better
.
2. Boot from SD Card: I would like to boot my own rootfs from sdcard (ubuntu/debian/etc). I've tried setting the boot params in the kernel and in the boot.img but haven't had any luck yet (kernel just boots from nand).
3. Xorg: tried chrooting into ubuntu rootfs and starting Xserver fails with "FBIOPUTCMAP: Invalid argument". I've tried quite a few xorg.conf settings but it seems the fbdev driver for xorg doesn't like the Triumph framebuffer. There is an opensource "freedreno" driver (https://github.com/freedreno) that should be compatible with the Adreno GPU in the Triumph but I have not tested it and it's still in development. Has anyone tried it or has anyone tried to get native xorg running on the Triumph?
Informations be much appreciated.
