Root INFUS3DTH3ORY Problem

Hey all. I sent an email off to the th3ory t3am (lol) today, hoping to try to find an alternate link to v1.1b. I can't seem to find one that works. Anyone have a mirror?

I should probably ask: is it still in development? It seems to fit what I need, but I need to give it a spin first.

Thanks

keep your eye on cleanth3ory as well. its early in development, and is using the newer base. infuseth3ory is using chingys leak(2.07.605.0)

Ugh.. thanks for throwing that monkey wrench into my plans.. Now I don't know which one I should use.. Clean is just the newest base, but is otherwise the same as Infused?

Not sure. It doesn't look like he has updated infused in the last month and it isn't being hosted by the dev so I would assume he may not be working on it anymore

Waited in anticipation for 1.2X to be released on xda and watched as the dev posted the link. I flashed Cl3anTh3ory 1.2X and then the 802 radio.. I'm very impressed.

updated today! with all these leaks, hes had to redo it 3 times with no bases, lol. its just the beginning, not abandoned.

superstretch,DTs roms are awsome :)

All is good. I can see how it is hard to keep up with his roms, most devs just update to the new base and keep the same name for their roms.

Yeah.. really hoping he doesn't get pushed to one thread. As it is, there was enough crosstalk in the cl3an thread to make things confusing at times. I know there are tables that explain differences, but someone really needs to compile a more comprehensive list-- what's in what stages of dev, what leak/build used, what radios recommended, what v. of sense or not at all, etc. It took a couple hours just to get a feel for what rom did what with what

Radios should be the same regardless of rom. Sense or not is also rather easy to determine (AOSP is not Sense everything else is). The thread I linked earlier is good at showing the different roms and linking each well but if they combine all the threads (even if they make 2 one for AOSP and another for Sense) it will become a big fustercluck

Oh totally, especially since there are like 4-6 of each different flavor. I mention Sense because some people are DEAD SERIOUS about the 3.0 mail app. For Clean (I can't make myself use threes anymore), DT (I refer to "DT" as a singular him, so correct me if I'm wrong) has stated multiple times he wants it light on Sense stuff. It seems like a table of to what extent Sense is integrated (apps, specifically) and of what version. Something might be 2.1, 3.0, or hybrid.

As for radios, he makes a point to specify which is recommended. I chose 802(.11 LOL) just because it was new and fancy and people are loving it from what I've seen.

Were you on .10 before? If you wern't and just flashed the radio from .11 you may have only flashed CDMA. I would actually recommend flashing .10 there seems to be issues with the CDMA/LTE handoff and VZW/WiFi handoff on .11 as well as reports of wonky 3G on the .11 radio.

I went straight from rooted, stock OTA MR2 to clean 1.2X. I flashed the 802 radio (checked that both were in the zip.. they were). Everything has been great for me. On the stock radio, I would be losing data connection all the time, but now, that's not the case. 4G worked perfectly for me yesterday (for the brief 15 minutes I was in a 4G zone)

Soo.. not sure that I've run into the problems mentioned. I'll keep my eye out, since I'm usually wifi at work and have a network extender at home

Stayed off of wifi at work.. had about the same reception as usual, but didn't have any data problems. Things seem to be working better than before and I've been getting great battery life on the stock battery.. Easily an extra couple hours
