Help Ingress on the Kyocera Rise

Is anyone playing Ingress on their Rise? The reason I ask is because my son has this phone and tries to play Ingress but the screen is all messed up and the buttons are all overlapping each other. It makes playing the game difficult to say the least.

I suppose there is no way to fix this but was wondering if others have the same problem.

I did have that issue. Its the low screen resolution. I also found in areas of high-portal activity, the frames-per-second can plummet to as low as 1-4.
