Ingress

As I said before, you can submit portals for approval but I am not sure what they are saying about towers. Cell towers?
 
Dead topic? Or just nothing of interest happening?

Does anyone know if this game is played/working in Europe? Holland to be specific...
 
Europe seems to be pretty active. At least if you're in a city.

I have only received two invites to hand out since November and those were on a recent hand out where level 6 and above got two, lower levels got one or none. Getting one from Niantic via email sign up can take months.

The game can continue for level 8 players who are interested in team play such as helping lower players level up, coordinating operations, etc.

This came direct from Niantic and the latest is it may stay in beta permanently, they like the "closed nature".

3 invites total for L6+ since they activated the invites in-app. I've helped plenty of others, it's really really boring after a while. I'll probably just help with huge fields or making L8 portals... unless Niantic doesn't further neuter the game :) :)
 
The National Museum of the USAF is like 2 blocks from my house, so you can imagine that it's quite the power hub. I don't know how, the place gets zero reception.

There is still talk of new levels or added features/benefits for level 8 players.

STILL? Post it up, the sxswxsxsswxs whatever in TX, they confirmed that double ap was fail for new levels. Please post up, or just google that event, common knowledge all around.

There's been talk of side adventures, such as 200km link would be not.ap, but something else.

The way it's been going, and with xm neutering, it's not as fun anymore. Niantic has been slow with new portals, UBER slow, and the gameplay has died down a lot.

Yes, I've been L8 for a long time. Please don't give me, "I'm level 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8 and I heard blah blah blah".... :D:D

Around here the game hasn't slowed at all, in fact it is growing.

I would have been 8 sooner but my work prevents too much playing.:( I am 7 now and about to hit 8, have been playing since November and am a moderator for the local resistance G+ community. :D

I've had this game since this past winter, however yesterday and today is the first time I've really messed with it. Been all over town, learning new things and new ways of getting around (I've only lived here for little over a year). I've capped several new portals, created a few new control fields and ranked up to L2. Really liking this game, I just wish there was more activity in my area. I think it would be cool to have a big event meet up.

Sure the gas mileage part kinda sucks, but I love driving my car, so that's a plus. I also learned a lot about this game. Took me awhile to learn how to link portals and how to create control fields. Creating control fields and taking out enemy portals are the quickest ways of leveling up.


I highly recommend watching the Ingress Report videos on Ingress' YouTube page. It's a great way of learning the new features of the game and how it has progressed.
 
Sylon, don't get used to what you know today.

I was an early adopter, and now it seems like there are major changes every week in the game play.

Hoping that niantic can finalize things soon.
