I received my new MT yesterday (two days ahead of the projected delivery) .
Immediately transferred my account to this phone.
I was able to download, install and run Gingerbreak, so the phone is rooted. How's that for simple. Thanks to everyone for all the guidelines.
Out of the box, stock, the phone is orders of magnitude better than the Samsung Intercept. I installed pdanet 3.02 this morning and it rips. I haven't done a speed test, but it's as faster than my wireless connection. (which, admittedly has a weak signal due to location)
I'm getting ready to do a ROM. Here, all the help and info is almost TMI (Too Much Information).
I have decided on Clock Work Mod. I am confused. Is CM7 the same thing in a later version??. If someone could direct me towards a simple (tab A into Slot C style) guide , I'd be thankful
