Root Input Keyevent not working on Rise

Does anyone know what this error means and how I can go about getting "input keyevent" to work on the Rise?

I'm trying to use Tasker and LMT launcher for certain hardware button functions like "Menu" or "Back" but they don't work on the Rise. They work on other phones I have, however, so I tried to see what was going on using terminal.
