Inspire 4g stuck in boot-fail loop, can't factory reset or enter recovery mode

Hey everyone. I've had my Inspire for going on about two years now I think. It's worked decently enough, but last night, my phone's battery died, and when I went to bed, I plugged it in to charge. However, I noticed the screen kept going on and off. So I checked it, and it was booting to the HTC logo, going to a black screen (screen still on) then shutting the screen off and repeating. I tried going in to Hboot and doing a factory reset, pressing the power button with the option highlighted takes me to the HTC logo screen, and starts the loop. Same thing happens with Recovery. I'm kind of at a loss as to what to do. I haven't messed with rooting or unlocking the device. It wasn't showing any other symptoms, and I hadn't downloaded anything new that day.
