Inspire for Captivate?

I'm a bit biased because my Captivate shutdown randomly and had to be replaced. The GPS was unreliable and basically useless for navigation.
However, I find the Inspire a much better device. It may not have the color saturation of the SAMOLED screen but that was over saturated anyway. The 4.3" screen really does make a positive impact for me. Also, the GPS on the Inspire is rock solid for navigation.
Possibly the best reason to get the Inspire, the volume rocker and power switch are not opposite each other. Ok, maybe that's not a major selling point but it sure was an annoyance for me with the Captivate.

Whoa, I totally misunderstood the title. I thought you were returning your Inspire for a Captivate! Haha.
I'm also a little biased. The GPS did not work for me at all on the Captivate, and being stuck on Eclair (Android OS 2.1) was horrible. The phone was a little laggy at times as well, tho not TOO much. I also HATED TouchWiz. Sense (whether you like it or not) is so much cleaner and sleeker.
I had my Captivate for a good 3-4 months, and as soon as the Inspire was available (seriously, I was at the store at 9AM on launch day) I bought it. Best decision I've made in a while haha. Slightly better camera (not resolution, I mean quality wise it isn't that much better than the Captivate), GPS is quick, the overall feel of it is better in my opinion, and it's QUICK, haven't ran into lag at all.
The Super AMOLED I do miss, but it definitely was not enough to keep the Captivate.
Oh... and after I bought the Inspire, I gave the Captivate to my mom. 2 days later it crapped out on her and she had to get a replacement. And when it comes to phones, ALL my mom does is make calls, so I know for a fact it wasn't anything she did.

i have a captivate and i went and got the inspire. i love the phone. well i still like my captivate too. havent really had any issues like random shutdown. gps is crap but if i really needed gps i just used my 4yr olds iphone (kinda a long story how she got that) but now with the inspire i find myself using my captivate less and less

I'm picking up the Inspire soon, but I'm worried about the battery life. Is it that much worse than the Captivates? I have a captivate now and it gets me through the day, but I don't want a phone that will die after a few odd hours...

What is important to you? For me it is the screen since i view a lot of photos on my phone (and show them off too). go to the store with your Captivate and get your hands on the inspire. Open your browser on both phones and go to the exact same website that show pictures. I suggest Smugmug or Pbase and hold the phones side by side. Then decide.
Since you pratically said you have no problems whatsoever with your Captivate, you can just go with which looks better for you.
