install apk file on sd card

[Deleted User]

Hi,

I have a htc legend.

Im very happy with it but i still have one question.

Is it true that apps are installed on internal memory?

because i install very much apps. so my mobile is starting to lag. already have a kill all background taskmanager and stuff.

but still lags? so maybe is there a way to install an apk file from the internet to the sd card so its not on internal memory?

Yes, as per all Android 2.1, and earlier, phones.

Not until the 2.2 / Froyo update arrives from HTC.

Also, if you think this 'lag' is caused by the number of apps you have installed I'm not sure how you think simply parking them on an SD card will help.
