Root Install from an SD card

I recently flashed sbf so I could do the new OTA update, but lost root. I have Z4 on my SD card, but can't figure out how to install it. I have a couple of app installers, but they don't seem to see anything on my SD card. I know it's there, along with a bunch of other stuff, because I have Astro and when I open it it's right there. How can I install it, can I do it with Astro? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I must be doing something wrong. I have 2 different app installers. When I open each of them they only show2 apk files

android(2.2)
blur.res(2.2)

Do I need to do something to my SD card?

There is a lot of stuff on the SD card, I can see it when I open Astro and look at it.

Try opening astro file manager. Then find the z4root.apk, click or tap it. It should give you option to browse file or open app manager.

open Astro, then click on sd card you should have a folder called downloads, open it and scroll down til you see Z4root, tap it then open app manager then click install. After that it will be in your app drawer.

Report back. We will find that sucker somewhere

If you downloaded Z4Root directly to your phone it will be in Downloads. If you downloaded to your computer and moved it to the SD Card then it should showup on the SD Card as an independent file.
