Root Install Kernel Fastboot

Saiylem

Lurker
I've read Cyanogen's guide on fastboot installing a kernel, but I feel like something is skipped as I'm not entirely able to link each step together. :/

I just flashed their 6.1 rom and want to install the 7.6 snap turbo kernel now as par the 'failsafe' installation method.

I've put the .ko and .zip file in the tools directory of my SDK folder and have HBOOT'd and gone into FASTBOOT with my Evo.
What exactly do I do next?

Snap 7.6 is not compatible with cm6.1. Its based off of .32. So even if you do get turbo enabled with using the fail safe method it will not work properly. I would suggest waiting for snap 9 to be released.
