so i am trying to install Cognition 2.3b8 on my captivate via Rom Manager and when i get into recovery mode and select 'reinstall packages' i get this:
Finding update package....
OPening update package...
installing update...
Installation Aborted.
I have tried flashing older versions of Cognition and my previous rom's backups but now whenever i try to flash roms it just gives me the 'installation aborted' line.
Have also used odin one click and master clear several times with no results....
ADDITIONALLY i can no longer get into recovery mode via the three button method, or the two button usb cable method. just a side note
any help would be appreciated as i cant stand 2.1 after nomming on 2.2 for so long. thanks a bunch in advance
