Installation aborted

When i try to install CheckROM Revolution HD i get (E: failed to verify whole-file signature) (E:signature verification failed) installation aborted. Can anybody help please?

did you do full wipe??

have you tried re-downloading and trying again, maybe corrupted file?

Are you downloading with a PC or on your phone?

Yes it is with cwm. I downloaded it to my pc and transferred it to the phone

Have you tried downloading it again? Does it do the same thing? I had this problem and it was my antivirus software. Turned it off and downloaded it again then it was fine.

what rom/firmware you coming from?

also are you trying to flash via CWM app or via recovery mode??

I think i have sorted it. i had been trying both cwm and the recovery mode - none worked, but i noticed the recovery mode did not have the full list of options so i re-rooted using cfroot (i had previously rooted using hc-ktools) which gave back the full list of options in the recovery panel so i reinstalled the new rom - no problems. Thanks guys for your help.
