Help Installed Music Player

Is it possible (and wise) to remove the pre-installed Music Player that came with the Samsung Galaxy S2? I ask because I prefer to use a superior music player from the Market and occasionally there are conflicts between the two so i thought it would be better to remove the pre-installed one.

Thanks

You need to root to uninstall factory apps.
I use Poweramp and have no conflicts with the other players.
