Root Installing Android 4.0 ICS on Samsung Ace Plaus GT-S7500

Hi Guys,

I have Samsng Ace Plus GT-S7500, i want to install Android 4.0 ICS on my phone but unfortunately there is no official update for my phone yet. So can you please explain me step by step in detail how do go about doing it so that i do not BRICK or damage my phone.

Please understand i am a novice so ignore anything silly or stupid if i might have said.

Hi Digital Controller,

I have gone through this guide however this guide is pretty old now and i have read about quite a cases where the things didn't work as per guide. So could you provide me some fresh guide with updated tools.

No one has managed to cook an ICS rom for the Ace plus so far. There are some custom ROMS based on GB, you can look them up over at XDA forums. Anyway jelly bean is expected to arrive any time soon.
