Root Installing Apps In Stock Partition

Salfordian

Lurker
I have a rooted Galaxy Ace mobile with SD etc but I would like to know if its possible to install apps in the Stock Partition so I can maximise the space.

I know how to delete unwanted Stock Apps now but that space isn't being utilised and this is bugging me

Make a nandroid first in case this advice fails. I make no guarantees.

Use EStrongs File Explorer as a root explorer, move apps from /data/app to /system/app

I don't know if things will work, but if it can, that's how.

Proceed with caution. Make a nandroid backup first.

I don't get this, I've installed Facebook on the SDcard but the phone memory has gone down by 5mb. Checked the Phone memory but don't see Facebook?
