Without an external memory card the phone has 2 partitions, one called phone memory and the other SD Card, which is still a part of the phones storage. My phones only got 4GB of storage and I have a 32GB sd card. I cant install apps on my phone because its full now. Ive tried moving the apk files to my sd card and creating a shortcut on the phone where the app should be stored but it didnt work. Is there any way, maybe with some sort of mod, that will let me run apps off of the external SD Card? I want to download alot of apps but my storage sucks.

Depends on what ROM ur on if u get exposed installed on kk or lollipop u can get an module that slows u to move apps to ext SD and have ur downloads go to ext SD all the info is on XDA site

Google exposed rember there are difference between kk exposed and lollipop I have lollipop files don't have the try this should b the one for kk let me know if ur on lollipop I give u those then download this apk called download2sd

If u get exposed installed go to the download section of exposed scroll through them and u will see it think it call D2sd or something like that
