Root Installing ClockworkMod Recovery

Hello I have a Samsung galaxy Rugby GT-S5690M which is basically the same phone as the xcover. I currently have it rooted using an xcover root and it is working fine.

My only problem with this phone was the lack of system memory. I was planning on partitioning the sd card to extend system memory. According to This Site you can do that with CWM or partition tool. I tried partition tool but whenever i turned on my phone it said damaged sd card.

So I'm wondering if anyone has found a way to install CWM on this device. I also have a .img file of CWM but cannot flash it to my device.

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

If you just want to extend the memory, you don't really need the CWM. Just use MiniTool or the second method that is posted on the link you posted. It achives the same result and you can skip having a custom recovery on your phone.

When I use mini tool the phone wont boot because it says the card is damaged
