Help Installing downloaded programs

Please help me with a question. I downloaded an upgrade for flash player onto my phone but cannot find out how to install it. How do I do this?

Where was this upgrade from... To my knowledge there hasn't been one for the hero.

You can find the actual file on your phone though right, are you running Froyo 2.2 cause if your not i dont think update will work

i'm assuming they saw the flash 10.1 apk somewhere and thinks it will work?????

That's the only thing I can think of but it's not made to run on the Hero.
