Root Installing Froyo Arabic

Hey i'm trying to install the Froyo Arabic version, and the only way explained in the forums is using Odin. but when i extract the firmware .rar file, the files that come up are amss, boot, csc.rfs, recovery, and system.rfs
to use Odin there should be OPS files and there isn't.. any help?

Okay thanks! but what about BOOT and PHONE and PDA and CSC, shouldn't they be .tar.md5? because otherwise they won't work..

Yes they should be in tar or md5 but if for example you downloaded as one file then you need to use in odin one package only to flash your phone if they are separate parts then you insert the separetly in odin.

This is for samsung galaxy mini I'll give you one example for Froyo european version when they are 4 files, the same goes and for ACE :

1. APBOOT_S5570XWKC2_CL939431_REV02_user_low_true.tar.md5 This wil go in Odin in the BOOT section

2. MODEM_S5570XXKB1_CL922213_REV02.tar.md5 This will go in Odin in the Phone section

3. CODE_S5570XWKC2_CL939431_REV02_user_low_true.tar.md5 This will go in Odin in PDA section

4. GT-S5570-CSC-BSEKC1.tar.md5 This will go in Odin in CSC section

And one more thing I don't recommend to mix files from one firmware and other you will end up in bricked phone or Lost GPS,Wifi,IMEI, No SIM card reading, No network so don't experiment anything like that even if you do is unrecoverable and only service with JTAG can save that and nothing else.
