I've read several how to's on installing gingerbread on a variety of phones, none being the Motorola triumph. I'm fairly computer-literate and though it would be as easy as downloading an apk, plugging my phone into my computer (I have root access) and installing it through a file manager, then rooting. I was apparently off by a lot, because I had to do a battery pull after 5 minutes of the artificial black screen post-rebooting. Help? I hate froyo.
