Root installing roms on the g2

Hey everyone like I said the other day I am new to this I have finally managed to perm root my g2 however when I go to download and install a rom all I get is a screen with a phone and broken screen and a red exclamation mark anyone out there that would be willing to kindly take the time and walk me through the process

You have to flash clockwork recovery. Download "rom manager" free from the market, press flash recovery. Flash it twice, sometimes it doesn't take on the first flash. Then you can make a backup of your stock rom, then flash a rom.

Do not skip the back up!
