It is possible with Apps2SD application. It requires root and some work, works ok, but still has some bugs.

In 3 months we will get FroYo update and it will be a standard feature then.

Or you can run Cyanogen 6.1 for Milestone, comes with a working apps2sd included.

I was yesterday at a friends house, and an iphone maniac was showing all his stupid applications in order to excite people. All the applications he had, i tried them in the past, they were stupid, and i just unistalled them because i had no more space on my phone. And thus i couldnt show off my mobile and let them know that what iphone has we can do it better!
