Root Installing Stock ICS Keyboard on Stock ROM

Ok, I saw a few posts but none of them really helped me. So I pulled the stock ICS keyboard the latinIME.apk and tried to install it on the stock rom because I despise that keyboard. Anyways, I can install it like normal and everything runs fine. The second I move it to the /system/app folder all heck breaks loose and I get an error every 5 seconds on the phone that I believe com.android.inputmethod.latin has stopped working and asks if I want to report it to HTC. I have already removed the HTC Input just fine and like I said if I keep it as a standard app in the /data/app folder it runs just fine. It's just bugging the heck out of me that I have this issue of moving it to system. Anyone know if there is another app I have to remove or something that simply doesnt play nice? Thanks!

Try pushing the "libjni_latinime.so" from the apk to the system/lib folder then pushing "LatinIME.apk" to system/app and make sure the permissions are set properly to "rw- r-- r--" after a reboot it should work
