Installing the OTA 2.1 file

just finished downloading the file.. using windows, do I change the name to "update.zip" or just "update" as I don't want to name it "update.zipzip"

This does not require root.

Yeah, that still doesn't work. I've tried every combination of pressing and holding and pressing at the same time, and pressing one, then pressing the other, etc. Nothing works.

Is it mandatory that the file be renamed to 'update.zip'? I'm downloading the file now (on my phone, not desktop) and was curious if I even need to bother with renaming it.

I can get as far as the Exclamation point screen but nothing past that. I've tried renaming the file to PB00IMG.zip running that, then renaming to update.zip and still freezing at the exclamation screen. I've also tried formatting my SD card through the phone and even performing a factory reset on the phone.

Btw i named the file pb00img made sure it was only one .zip out started to load like the leak then went to normal boot screen. renaming update again. Brb

Yea, I'm not having the same issue as everyone else. I'm stock 1.5 and I followed all the steps and keep getting stuck on the exclamation point screen. I've tried every different combination, and cant get it off that screen until i pull the battery...Common smart people...i got all excited...lol...be smart and figure this puppy out! hehe

Those who are getting to the exclamation and then nothing... WAIT a few minutes after hitting power and volume up.... I thought mine did not work, set it down, and came back to it a few minutes later to see it had changed.
