Root instillation aborted, when installing Cm 10.1

clicking on this thread to see the above message without an explanation is nearly as bad as the actual installation aborted message (which I am still seeing). I have rooted my device, SU app is present, I have installed latest clockwork mod recovery, I have tried several CM11 Zips none work. Can anyone help?
