Root Instructions for Mac Users To Remove Bloatware

Hello Everyone

I tried searching for any topic related to what I'm asking, but I couldn't find anything. I've done google searches also, and although I have found some stuff, it was either too complicated or was for pc users.

I have an iMac, and I got my Rezound about 5 days ago. I love my phone, but I want it to be just a bit better.

I just want to remove all the bloatware that is on the phone. All I'm wanting, is for it to be faster and to improve on battery life.

Don't want ROMs, I can wait for the ICS update, and if it never comes or comes in fall, I wouldn't mind; since my real upgrade date is in November.

Can someone please provide instructions on the easiest way for Mac users to remove the bloatware that is on the phone?

Please help.

Thank you.

Moses

i do not,sorry.

if you search the web,you should be able to find some general instructions to using ADB and fastboot on a mac,the adb/fastboot commands needed to unlock are simple, and you prolly could easily make the unlock process work if you want. you may want to simply borrow a windows laptop,or go to a friends house and use their windows desktop to unlock,as the files needed are small and non-intrusive,and the process doesnt take long.

after you unlock, you can get away with not using a computer for alot of things, including debloating.

debloating is best done with titanium backup pro,or a similar app. best idea is to make a nandroid backup of 100% stock before deleting anything, then use titanium to freeze bloat for a couple days. if you experience no ill effects from the freezing, you can go back and delete everything youve frozen. no PC required :)
