I've almost given up hope on my tiny inexpensive phone. Before I ask my questions, let me lay down some ground rules:
1. I have no desire to, or knowledge on, rooting my phone. This is off limits because I can't afford a new one if I mess something up.
2. I'm not going to buy a new phone, and don't feel I should be punished because of the phone and carrier I've chosen.
3. I'm trying to avoid a full system restore/factory reset if at all possible.
As the title says, I'm trying to update the Google Play Services app, but running into the "Error: Insufficient Storage" message every single time.
Out of the 623.5 mb I have available for app storage, I can get 123 mb free for app installs, without fully uninstalling any of my downloaded apps. This is AFTER I've cleared as many caches/data as I've found for each running/installed app.
Please offer what advice and methods you can to get my Google Services updated so I can finally use chromecast from my phone.
Thanks.
