Help Intercept e-mail question

I have had my Intercept for over a month, and all of a sudden, my e-mail program doesn't bring in new e-mail, unless the phone is actually being used. It used to do it's "Virgin Mobile" sound any time mail arrived, but now, it's only when I am using the internet, or using navigation. Is there some setting that can bring it back to what it was?

Bring up your email app and click the menu button. Click on account settings and scroll down and check to see if you have Email Notifications turned on. If it is checked then you should still be getting a notification, if not then thats why!
