I know this is highly unlikely but I found this very interesting.

Point is Google can get around all this Apple garbage by updating all the 2.X phones to 4.0. Oooohh la la.

I seriously doubt anyone cares about the Lg Esteem on the Metro PCS network but it's a wonderful though.

their old higest end phones like the esteem, connect and lightray, more than likely wont be updated. but their new phones like the motion and soon to come g3 will already have 4.0 and get all the better updates

I think it's bad business to not update the Esteem, Connect and Light ray to ICS. That just will extend the life and increase the profit of they're 3 most expensive phones. They'd be stupid not updating them.

Esteem is not even affected by the patent wars. You guys might want an update(as do i) but it doesn't need one.
