Help intermittent bluetooth

Since the latest update my bluetooth connection to my car is intermittent. Constant connecting and disconnecting. Has anyone else had this problem?
 
I have noticed this too... it also takes longer to connect to the car after the most recent firmware update to the X. I have an app called "Bluetooth Notifier" that makes sounds when connected/disconnected from the car... and sometimes I hear it disconn/conn while I am driving. Never done it in a call tho.

My car is an '05 BMW 3-Series with factory BT
 
I have not noticed this issue. I make a 45 minute drive (one way) to and from work and I am constantly on the phone. The only thing that I notice is the dead spot in a couple mile stretch. I have an 2009 Toyota Camry Hybrid with factory BT.
 
Huh. I just did about 3000 miles of driving in the past two weeks with the Bluetooth audio streaming the entire time, and didn't have a single issue.

I am running an aftermarket Sony player with built-in BT.
