Hello

I have almost all of my apps linked with Link2SD, but my internal memory has been slowly getting fuller. today i installed an app and started getting low memory warnings.

i went into Link2SD to see if there were any more apps I could link. I found a few that say "on SD card" instead of "linked" so I tried to change one to linked and got this error:

Failure [INSTALL_FAILED_INSUFFICIENT_STORAGE]

i get this message when I try to link any app.

any ideas on what I can do? here's the memory readings according to Link2SD:

Internal: 6% Free
SD Card: 31% Free
SD Card 2nd Part: 84% Free
System: 64% Free

thank you for any advice

How many apps do you have installed?
I keep all the ones I don't use too often in their .apk form on the sd card. I do this with Root Uninstaller. I now only have 94 apps actually installed.
This frees up RAM as well.

You need SD Maid Pro. Will clean thumbnails and tombstones as well as caches. They can take up a lot of internal storage space.
You can clean on your own as well.
Not sure where in the /data folder their located.
Clean all your caches as well.

thanks. I just went through all my apps (via the stock "application manager") and virtually none of them had any cache space used. a couple of them I deleted the data.

I counted 47 apps on the application manager.

Did you check the Tombstones and thumnails?
How big is your sd card?
How big is the partition?
This can effect things as well.
Did you create the mount script to the proper format and reboot when you first opened up Link2SD?

You shouldn't be having these problems (scratching head).
What ROM do you have?
