Help Internal Memory Evo Question

Whats up people

So I noticed something today that I had not yet seen. I have the file manager app which allows you to see your SD memory storage in exact M and percentage as well as your Internal memory which is under Applications. I wrote down the number of the internal memory which was 362/427M and what Iam not understanding is when I went to download an app and uninstalled it the memory didnt go back to the 362.

It went up to 364 and climbed by 2s every time I installed and uninstalled an app. So my question is what is going on because the memory should go back to the same number when uninstalled not increase.
 
1) What app are you using to check space?
2) It's not just the app that is stored on /data. Sometimes, not everything is cleared out right away (app data, etc.). Generally, it'll clear up if you reboot. If you do, you should notice a little extra space from removing apps.
3) If you suspect you should have more space, go to manage applications, then sort by size. That will show what apps are using the most space, including data.

Iam using the adao File manager app. The thing is the space will go down right away. But I will check by sorting by size.

How come it only can read the whole amount after reboot and not detect the full amount right away.
 
It's not that it can't read it; it's that some stuff gets cleared out during a reboot. It kind of depends on a few things.
