Root Internal Memory Help

I'm curious to know if anyone knows

of an app available or other means that will allow me to move the pre-loaded and other apps to the SD card on a unrooted Samsung Galaxy Prevail running the 2.3.6 Gingerbread FA19 version? Or is rooting the only option to free up the shortage of internal Ram, as well as the other benefits rooting will provide?
Thanks in advance for any and all suggestions and answer!

yes try these apps in the android market app 2 SD there are a few different ones but i believe both do the job equally.

If you are trying to get rid of the bloatware (hooked, scavenger, etc) you're going to need to root the device.

I suggest rooting (unlocking administrative privileges), one click by Shabby is the best for the Prevail. Yes you need to have admin. privileges to move the whole app (link2SD AND app2sd only create a shortcut to the sd) I would suggest HoneyBread4 by Skater187. his ROM uses an integrated app2sd that you can choose how much internal STORAGE you want. I have 899MB of internal as I type.:D:D

It's internal ROM not RAM.
