Internal memory only 175 mb!!

i dont understand..on its specification its written tht it has 384 mb RAM....so why im seing only 175 mb on my mobile....have i done something wrong in the mobile or is the android system takin all tht space....

plz reply..and help!!

RAM is random access memory like un a computer. It caches often needed system files and user files for quicker access.

Yes internal memory isn't very big
 
Funny thing is the wildfire spec says it has 512 ROM and 384 RAM. If you're saying RAM is for cache, that means ROM is the internal storage. So my question would be why does my wildfire tell me i only have 175mb of internal storage when its supposed to be 512?
