Internal Memory or free space?

How can I find how much free space / memory I have left on my phone?
RAM, MB, etc?
I just rooted, installed a ROM and learned how to delete bloatware.
Now I want to learn how to monitor my usage of space, and try to make my phone faster.

Any help will be appreciated.

menu>settings> sd & phone storage

you can see how much free space is on your SD card as well as internal free space. the internal free space is what you want to monitor. keep in mind that removing bloatware will NOT make the internal storage change since those are installed in a different section that is not monitored.

in my experience, in order to keep your phone and applications running smoothly you want at the very least 30mb of free space. depending on the rom you're running, it may or may not allow you to install a lot of 3rd party applications because the original rom took up too much internal memory space.
