I personally don't think the battery will be removable or replacable by the user, but that's just my guess.

I don't see why it wouldn't be. I don't know of any Motorola device that isn't. Take a look at the top right of this picture. That appears to be a battery door to me.

I think you could be right. I just can't imagine a device from Motorola shipping without a replaceable battery. However, they don't have any batteries listed on the website as accessories.
