Help internal storage issues, moved apps to sd and now they are gone?

hey guys.

So I've had my HD for nearly 2 years and I've built up a lot of apps but they still only add up to around 200mb yet my internal storage of 1gb is apparently full. So I went and chose the option to increase space which gives you a wizard for uninstalling apps, cleaning caches and moving apps to SD. I did so and now most of the ones I moved don't appear in my app menu... wtf??

Also, how do I find out what is taking up so much space on my internal storage?

If you've cleared the cache on apps such as the browser and such and are still short of space, you might take a look at your saved texts, pictures, music, and mail/attachments. I'd suggest getting a good file manager. There are many good managers at the Play Store. I personally use Astro. When you have a file manager in place, you can then easily look at your internal storage and sd card. You will be able to see if there is anything that seems to be hogging your space.... and will help you locate the moved files you spoke of. Best of luck to you.
