Internal storage question.

Hi there guys, I got it yesterday just to get everything established right of the back and am absolutely in love with it. The phone truly amazes me (considering it is my first smart phone lol) even though I've been following it since the very first leaked roadmap.

Anyway onto the important part, I was loading my music into it last night and I wanted to put all of my music onto the internal 16gigs of memory rather then on the SD card, and then use the SD card for my apps. My question is how would I put it in the internal memory? I looked through the files when I connected it to my computer and couldn't really determine where to put it (especially confused since it was my first smartphone I've played with in detail) nor what folder it would even belong in. Anything you guys can give me for tips or even a guide on what to do would be amazing and I appreciate it, good night fellow Rezound owners =)

You should be able to just make a folder called music, in the internal storage then the same on your sd card.

I have not hooked my rezound up to a PC yet but with the T-bolt when I selected to use like an external storage device it would show up as two drives, one is the SD card the other was the phone.

Just create a new folder on the internal memory and name it whatever you want that relates to music (like Music or MP3, etc), just so that the phone can recognize it.

The Rezound's storage definition (user manual) ;)

HTC Rezound with uses these storage types:

Apps and data storage:
Apps are installed to this storage, labeled as Internal storage in your phone settings. It also stores data such as your text messages, contacts you created or synchronized to your phone, account settings, and more. This storage is managed and carefully guarded by your phone since it contains your private information. When you connect your phone to your computer, this storage is not accessible from your computer. Storage contents will be erased when you do a factory reset. Make sure to back up your data before starting a factory reset. Some apps allow you to back up to your storage card, such as People.

File storage:
This is another built-in storage, labeled as Phone storage in your phone settings. This is where you can store your files. When you connect your phone to your computer, this storage is accessible and you can copy files between them. When you do a factory reset, you can choose whether to keep or erase the storage contents.

Storage card:
Your phone comes with a microSD card already installed. You can store your files such as photos, music, and videos to this removable storage. When you connect your phone to your computer, this storage is accessible and you can copy files between them.
