Help INternal Storage/SD Card/'Additional Storage'?

OK, SO I obviously know what my 'Internal Storage' and 'SD Card' are, but what about the 6.6 GB listed as 'Additional'? /mnt/emmc? Can I install apps here, should I send pics here? Basically, it's empty, there appears to be 20 MB on it. but that's all. Anyone know how this storage works. what it's for, and how it functions? Is it more like the standard internal memory, or is it more like the SD Card, as in 'external', and only SOME apps can install? Currently, it jest seems like I am not utilizing available space.

The 6.6gb is for media files (pictures, music, documents etc). Basically works just like your SD card except you can't move apps to it.

Then you have 750mb for apps.

Alright, thanks... Already have all of that on my SD card, but I can free up a little more space that way I guess... Too bad I can't put apps there, but that's how it goes...
