Root [International] 3 minute framework - I9505 deodexed only ;-)

3.2.1 framework is now up.
And just to keep that finicky old ferrite posterior happy, I've even supplied the changelog.


3.2.1(15/08/2013)
Fixed Blocking mode icon
Fixed Smart eye icon
Fix header am-pm size fc
Other tweaks and improvements

Added 3 languages:
French
German
Norwegian

Thanks to the translators

App will be available soon.

If coming from v3.1.1 or older data wipe required or v3.2 just flash.

What about the smell I asked and was told that the pigs would soon get used to it!

Added a warning for anyone on anything other than v3.2 framework as I feel there will be a few people who will update the Play Store app without being on the v3.2 framework.
 
Word of warning with 3.2.1 framework.
If you were eager (like me...premature AGAIN!) you may have downloaded the wrong version (3Minit_Framework_3.2.1_MGA_MD5_4B187DFE559BC40EC328033CE41A4D6F)

This was taken down and updated, but still 3.2.1.
The correct version for 3.2.1 to download is in fact 3Minit_Framework_3.2.1_MGA_MD5_E28FE57857C3CC35263AC9A61FA53187
 
Shouldn't worry too much, plenty of us(jocks only?) Haven't yet stumped up the ha'penny (pronounced hay p ney as one word ;-) ) for the play store version, I will get round to it one day.....honest :-P

3.2.1 still seems too fiddly to get "working", had a go, uninstalled the app, installed the framework, it works to a certain extent, but no CRT off still without dabbling with titanium backup (CRT off works fine on 3.1 with a diff mod), and got an FC just for changing summat to do with the date (can't remember now). the dev mentions doing a data wipe, surely not a wipe of your installed rom, just to get the latest version working? not enough goodies on the changelog this time round, will sit it out till the dust settles :)
 
3.2.2. is out, all seems to be working fine now including CRT off. was getting an FC when i tried to use live wallpapers on 3.2.1, but that bug has gone too.

Never had a problem with Live Wallpaper but still cannot get CRT off to work. No big deals though.

Try this old my old welly boot:

Set all your 3minit configuration first.
Lastly set CRT effect
Dont reboot whenasked
Go into titanium backup, save 3minit app
Do a straight uninstall of 3minit in TB (no data wiping etc)data/cache.
Reboot phone.
Use titanium backup to restore 3minit app and data.
Now go in 3minit app, to choose your screen off effect
Reboot when asked

UPDATE

Just received a Play Store update to the 3Minit app. After installation it asked me to update my framework to 3.2.2, which I am already on. I chose to ignore it!
 
Just a wee note for people, I restored a backup I had made yesterday however encountered a problem where the time wouldn't change on my notification bar(lockscreen kept correct time)And then my timer didn't work either.....I did a wipe if cache as and dalvik(under advance on philz!) This did the trick and it's working fine now :-)

I paid for the app on Thursday then Friday went to probam, sods law ;-) will be back on a tw Rom before I know it though :-)
 
Doh, major mistake on my part. I'll post what I did as a warning.

New SGS4 set up how I wanted rooted, Philz CWM successfully installed, Busy Box installed, first Nandroid done, efs backup done, titanium backup done.

Right down loaded this 3minit framework :

3Minit_Framework_2.2_MEA_MD5_91F5B01591A5C1471A13BC9886B43101

Correct for my firmware (I9505XXUBMEA) you might think, Nope I'm still running stock Vodafone odexed ROM.


Flashed it and it seriously borked my phone. It booted but was in that stupid 'easy' mode, which FCed almost instantly on every boot.

I think my odexed ROM caused it. It has to be. Thank heavens for Nandroid.
