Root [International] 4.3 update/rooting

I updated to 4.3 the other day and im not liking the bugs......
so my question is,can i root my phone and put a custom rom on it.

do i just follow the rooting guide on here?im asking because when i google it i only get answers about rooting from 4.1.2.is it still the same process from 4.3?
or if i root and revert to the 4.1.2 fw will it get rid of the bugs?

Assuming you have a custom recovery, one with an "install from zip file" option, install a ROM for your phone that comes in a zip file. Wipe all data first, then install the ROM, then wipe all data. Then reboot, go for a long lunch and you should be running the new ROM.
 
Must just be me - 4.3 looks and behalves fine! Ok a bit slow to wake up but that improved after I turned on power saving...

Android OS looks like a bit of a power hog in battery, but thats also improved in the last few days...
 
ive got intercom on my bike and i use my music player alot and you get one song out of it then it goes all choppy,stopping and starting........
when it was on 4.1.2 it was solid,very stable and NO bugs.
ive not got alot of faith in samsung sorting the latest problems out.

ive always wanted to have a go at rooting aswell
 
i could still do with knowing if i can use the root guide even though im on the 4.3 update from the other day??
