Root [International] 4.4 roms!

Theres a set of new 4.4 gapps that aparently has photosphere on the camera but im not getting it, maybe i need to clean flash. The cam im getting doesnt have save to EXT either.
Ill clean flash them when i try omni.
Anyone want me to upload them? Theyre Odexed (whatever that means lol)

Im running unofficial cm nightlies (on 26th justnow)
Halo has just been added (i dont use it) id guess PA pie will be next.
I love ART so much im living without Xposed!! Aparently the dev has to fully rewrite the app from scratch for it to work with ART :(
4.4 certainly is a belter of an update. Can only imagine how its gona improve low spec phones :beer:
 
I'm on Temasek V11 now and apparently the next version in going to have Halo. I love this ROM, everything tested so far works nicely and it's smooth like butter. I think I won't ever revert back, not even to AOSP 4.3.1, as no custom ROM developers actually implemented the new Mali drivers on them.
 
Temasek really failed on me man. It was a dirty flash though.
The rom im using is based on CM nightly 26th Nov. Its nice man. i dont use Halo but it has that now.
Hopefully we'll get pie next then some more customisation like hidden statusbar.
The team im following havent even named themself yet lol but they were doing modded PA nightlies optimised for the i9300 in the 4.3 days but for now theyre building from CM/Tamasek Kitkat :-)

I duno how to link a community but this is the thread for the nightly im on now mate.
As i said, it has halo, some mild statusbar options, animation options, optimised for i9300. Other than that its basicly CM11 but theyre a nice team worth following :)

What issues did you have with Temasek? Mine runs smooth like butter and no issues so far. The only letdown is Google play Services draining the battery, but that's not the Rom's fault.

Which gapps did you flash? and did you update any google apps in Play Store afterwards?

I didn't have any Google Services battery drain until I updated apps in Play Store...

I reflashed the gapps over the updates and it fixed the drainage issue. However, I daren't update my google apps now.
 
For now I have the latest banks Gapp. My only solution now is to disable location reporting for Google Apps. I just leave it on for third party apps.

Force close after force close mate. I did dirty flash it over another CM build though so not the roms fault.
Things are moving so fast that i cba clean flashing something yet lol :)
 
How's everyone finding the camera on the 4.4 roms? It seems to be one of the listed bugs under all cm builds. Is this because it doesn't support save to ext SD?

Do you think Sale will eventually release a Neatrom Lite 4.4?

No offence but im completely lost with all the lingo of 'Halo, ASOP, ART etc'

Im only used to following tutorials lol :)
 
I dont know. I dont know if theres a 4.4 build of touchwiz that could be ported to the s3 yet. Havent heard of one anyway mate.
The trouble with TW roms like Neat Rom is theyr built from samsung code. The aosp roms are built from pure android code which is free and legal for anyone to use :beer:
P.s, flashing aosp roms is just like flashing neat but google apps arent included so you have to flash them too

So youve only flashed Neat before?
Do you want a mega-stable rom (4.3) or very stable but not quite(4.4)?
what recovery are you on? I recommend the latest Philz touch (ill see if i have a file i can upload).....
 
Currently running Philz Touch 5 recovery.

I've only ever flashed Neatrom Lite by doing the following

Nandroid backup, titanium backup, efs backup, mega wipe, then flash rom.

I'm after the most stable version of 4.4

Exactly the same process ecxept you flash Gapps (google apps) straight after flashing the rom bro.
Think we'll have to have a vote on whats most stable lol. ive only just flashed the rom above so i dont know how stable it is or battery life but my vote would be a simple cyanogen build.
Anyone got a dropbox link to latest Philz?
And a vote/link for most stable 4.4? :beer:

Would you recommend a clean flash when I install a 4.4 rom? I'm currently running 4.1.2 neatrom lite 4.7
 
Absolutely definaly a completely clean wipe bro. Not only are you making a huge jump in android versions (kitkit is a big change) but youre going from samsung to much purer android :beer:
Do you use Google+ mate?
As much as i love AF, theres a lot more going on rom-wise on G+ and its far friendlier than XDA

Dont use Google+ to be honest im not even sure what it does lol

Definitely want to install a 4.4 rom, just not sure which one to go for

Make a nandroid of Neatrom and make sure your titanium is up to date ;)
